This book starts off with a clip of Max in his childhood. He had a friend named Layra who was an elf, and when the war started the family was sent to prison. Max broke them out. After that Max arranged an airship to take them to Frontera and back to Gulfen(The nation of Elves.) However, the ship was blown up, That day on Max would work for the Elf King. Navin, Cogsley, and Aly are piloting a collusous suit. They are a large mobile mech suit. At the end theirs a cut scene of Emily playing a game with the voice. Even after reading all 8 books multiple times I don’t really know what its for. I rate this book 9/10
